yes there is hands on experience... if your class likes you and you get voted to do what you want. If your class doesnt like you you will get voted to be a PA on every project and get to sit back and watch as all the other CHILDREN have fun ruining your class project.

I had more experience than most of my teachers by the time i graduated, they are all film industry failures and did nothing with their lives so they became teachers. they post adds on craigs list looking for fullsail instructors saying you need little to no experience to teach there

yes the equipment and facilities are cool... but so are space camps.. you dont get to use a good 90 percent of what they show you and what you do get to use is by popular vote of your class. and 90 percent of the people in your class are going to be cocky wanna be idiots who control everything and if you do what you should do you will get a chance to watch all of them perrish and fail :)

This is coming from an alumni who is making 45 thousand a year 3 months after graduation.

No it was not worth it at all, it is basically The Space Camp of film schools you go and learn about what all these other people did from a bunch off half assed teachers who have little to no experience in what they are doing, it is a giant scam. They suck the money out of you and fuck with you like a lab rat the whole time your there. (im going to put this in caps) THE BEST POSSIBLE THING YOU CAN DO AT THIS SHIT SCHOOL IS TO FAIL EACH CLASS AS MANY TIMES AS YOU CAN SO YOU CAN TAKE IT OVER FOR FREE, YOU WILL LEARN AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE THIS WAY. everything i now know i taught myself during school by buying a camera and going out and finding real industry experience. this school wont teach you shit. stay as far away from it as you possibly can, it ruins dreams and lives by the hundreds
